How Richard Fong Is Helping Other Entrepreneurs Find Bliss

Our Background

This series has been named a member showcase, we publish interviews with Oracle members. These interviews are with Digital Marketing, SEO and lead generation agency, Bliss Drive founder and CEO Richard Ford. It was condensed by Oracle.

What was your biggest impact on growth?
Richard Fong: My father. I appreciate the firmness and dedication of his family. When she was eight months pregnant with me, she went to America from China. When I was eight years old, I did not even land in Kansas. My parents fought in the United States, working in a restaurant during the day, learning English at night and sleeping on the restaurant floor.

Eventually, he opened his own restaurant, where I started as a dishwasher and busboy at the age of 11. I watched my father work 13 hours in the hot and humid kitchen. He taught me a lesson that I can never forget: "I was not the best cuisine in the city, but I am convinced that my whole day has been prepared, I worked harder than the competition, and my customers can taste this difference. . "

Share an interesting fact about yourself that many people do not know.
Richard Fong: I've played salsa and cubs for about 10 years. I played on stage with dance teams in Salsa festivals in Las Vegas and Los Angeles.

I got to know my wife by dancing, the passions that change my life. We do not dance because we have a son, but we do some childhood work in our family room after dinner.

How did your business start?
Richard Fong: I worked as a financial analyst at the bank after college. It was a good job and I was allowed to travel across the country. But I always wanted to be an entrepreneur, so I learned internet marketing and finally earned enough as an affiliate marketer to quit my work.

When I helped a friend with my SEO site, he watched more online stores in three months compared to last year. When I realized that I helped the entrepreneurs to make unsuccessful companies as traffic and transformers as collaborators. Now I can use my power and I am very supportive of creating and developing systems that change lives for entrepreneurs.

What is your favorite price?
Richard Fong: Bruce Lee once said that "a successful warrior is the average person who focuses on the laser." It's true in my life. If I concentrate on a specific result and focus, then it is much faster than I guess. When I have many projects, I feel disturbed and tense.

Gary Keller and Joe Pappen, this favorite book "The One Thing" is included. The book asks: What can you do to make things simple or unnecessary?

What was your biggest challenge? How did you cross it?
Richard Fong: Like most companies, I rely on the word of mouth and networking. Ultimately the leads from the Internet were found, but it was usually a small offer. I want to grow my business quickly and want to get bigger customers.

Jim Rohan once said, "I wish it would not be easy, I wish it was better." I knew that if I want to change things, then I have to get to the level. If I do what I do, I continue to get the same result. When I started learning about sales and prospecting, I took two years to get good. I still feel like a student, but I know how to control a big deal rather than wait for something to happen.
